I was born in Columbus, Ohio in October of 1958. Although our family did not attend church, I learned of God and Jesus by attending Vacation Bible School with my neighbors. In 1967 we moved to Magnetic Springs, Ohio where I attended and graduated from North Union High School in 1976. I served in the US Navy from 1977-1981, spending the majority of my enlistment in Sicily, Italy. I came to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in spring of 1981 in a preaching service at Faith Baptist Temple in Marysville, Ohio. It was there that I met and married Linda Dockery in December 1981. We have 3 children and 9 grandchildren. I worked at Honda for 28 years until March 2014 and now split my time between duties here at the church and house renovation projects.
